Pinatas

I am making these pinatas as practice. It has been a little while since my last one,{ about 2 years} I used to make and sell them when I lived in Florida a few years back and had a pretty good group of customers. Trying my hand at them again and seein' what happens. I'll continue to post updated picture of my progress so check back often. Hopefully they will turn out adorable. :)

Pretty flowers

Started making these little pretty flowers this weekend for another project I'm working on but thought they were so pretty I had to share. What do you think? More on that other project later.

More baby cuteness

Here are a couple more baby things I've made.  I found the sweater pattern free online and will post a link to that when I find it.  The hat and booties are all me.  Cute right?  Well more later, lots of goodies coming up.  laters

Laundry room

I had these curtains from a bedroom set I no longer use.

I got the sign from Hob Lob (40% coupon) for 2 bucks
I think they match well and look kinda cute together.

I am fixing up the laundry room using things I already have on hand.
I think this is a pretty good start don't you?  I am going for the beige, black theme with bits of red for pop!  I'll keep you posted on how its coming along. I won't post pics right now on the count that my laundry room is GROSS.  All in due time my friends :)

Little somethings

This is what I was working on today... Only got one boot-ie done so far. The flower is removeable and the cuff can be folded down or left up. So cute right?
Here is what it looks like with the flower on and the matching hat.
I made this set a little bigger(3-6mo) so when a certain little someone comes to visit in MN. at Chrismas she will have a cute pair of warm boot-ies to wear with a matching hat. Think I may make another set in white....
The pattern I used for the hat was this one: Best Baby Cloche from http://www.aestheticnest.com/
It was super easy, super quick and super cute! The boot-ies there was no pattern for I just made it up as I went along. The hat maybe took about 20 minutes and the bootie about 15. Not to bad for about 30 minutes of work. Now off to finish the other Boot-ie.

mirror mirror

Look what I got at Goodwill for 50 cents. Thinking of painting it black and putting it in my hallway. Little mirror, lots of potential!
